Made it to the dock about 4:40am - (4:45am is when I was told that we were gonna meet up). Well about 4:55 and finally the next person shows up - Jacob - who had invited me on the trip (a free trip no less). We finally were all loaded & leave the dock about 5:40 or so. The wiond was calm & the water looked great. We head out to our first few stops & were surface fishing for kings. We boated 14 kings in a few different locations & then headed out to another location to fish for AJ's. Notta single AJ was boated on the whole trip. Even had live piggies (AJ candy), and still no AJ. Had one hook-up that was lost. Next we move on & start bumping shrimp boats. We would come up to a shrimp boat, dumps a bucket of chum & fish as were drifting away. That is where we picked up our ling & blackfin tuna. We also caught about 100 bonita also - many that were pushing the 15 lb class. we ended up with 21 ling, 14 kings & 7 blackfin tuna. Not to bad for a 12 hour trip with 10 of us fishing.

JUST A FYI for those interested. If I had the extra funds and wasnt savin up for a couple of tuna trips, I'd be on there myself...

Ned (owner of the Blue Fin) is putting together a charter on the blue fin for just normal folks like us if your interested... I think the trip is for later this month... they still need a few folks.... On this trip, it would be best probably to leave the youngsters at home and just be adults fish'n.
All you got to do is bring what you want to eat/drink and get on the boat...

Its heck of an offer. you wont find much of a better opportunity to fish with a finer true fish catching capt in our area in the year of 2010 i gar-ron-T...

It will cost ya most likely about $100 more than just goin with a friend on a day trip out there, but this aint no normal trip with a weekend warrior, your goin with a true top capt and a good boat and the good Lord willin and the creek dont rise, yall are gonna nail some big fish....

and since Ive written the above post, they have posted I think even another trip they are putting together ....act fast if interested..
